Powerful Protection Against the Tropical Sun
These days we have a responsibility to protect ourselves, our customers and those in our care from the harsh conditions of the tropical sun. With the increase in the level of harmful UV rays, it makes good sense to create a safe and comfortable environment.

Impressive Simplicity
For the business or pleasure, public or private uses, Tropical Shades® offer distinctly stylish and functional structures that enhance as well as protect. We at the Davis Group design Tropical Shades® to do just that. Whether it be for Schools and Child Care, Corporate Car parking, Sporting Venues, Council Parks and Public Places or at Home, we have the local knowledge to satisfy this important need.

State-of-the-Art Fabric
We continually research the market for the best fabrics for each design. Whether it be a high density knitted polyethylene breathable mesh with UV blockout properties in the 90% ratios or solid vinyl for absolute waterproof qualities, you are assured of the latest and most suitable canopy for your particular need.

Strong & Purpose Built
Tropical Shades® are engineered to withstand the severe weather conditions of North Queensland. Designed by local engineers for local conditions.

Designed to Last
Our structures are engineer designed. Our canopies can be easily removed for winter storage or to protect the fabric against damage from flying debris during severe storms.
All components used are corrosion resistant - made from galvanised or stainless steel. Optional power coating provides a colourful, tough and extremely durable finish.

Canopies or Framed Structures are individually designed to ensure maximum coverage and proper fitting. Perimeter adjustments and non corrosive steel cables allow for proper re-tensioning of the fabric canopy if required. Large sail structures are fitted with safety links which give added protection in severe cyclonic conditions. All structures are warranted and backed by an organisation with over 60 years experience in North Queensland.
